Who Says It’s February?
It is absolutely lovely out. It purports to be 47 degrees out but there’s just no way. It’s far too nice. It’s warm and sunny - not warm like June but far warmer than it needs be for February!
It’s been an oddly relaxing day after a week of vomit, snot and cranky bloggers (that’s for another day).
And despite the looks of my living room, I got quite a bit accomplished. I managed to finish some more laundry in the early morning and pick up my Rx at the pharmacy - all before 9am. I popped into my favorite bakery to get a decaf and a hot cross bun. I love hot cross buns! Hooray for the season. Also a fan of hot cross buns? My son.
I headed home to clean up a bit, update taxgirl.com and make some calls.
I picked up Amy from school and then swung over to Target. Spent far too much money but managed to replace Amy’s Dorothy shoes that had been trashed - she now has “extra pink” shiny shoes. We also got Valentine’s cards and candy for school.
Chris was at jury duty all day. Well, not all day. They sent him home early if he “promised to go back to work” which he did, at the law library.
It’s now almost 3:30pm. This horrible, terrible week is almost over. I can hear the angels singing already…
