So girlfiend tagged me for a meme since I have so much spare time.  Here are the rules:

Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

My 8 things are the first 8 things that I could think of.  They will not change your world.

1. I have discovered that my youngest daughter has a bizarre ability to name the titles (and sometimes the artists) of songs that she hears on the radio and/or my iPod.  She is now my dancing monkey.
2. Despite my apparent lack of patience and attention to detail, I love to sew.  I just have no time to do it.
3. I hate to have my picture taken because my smile is terrible.  Really.  I look like a stroke victim on film (and yes, my mother has had a stroke so I am not making fun of stroke victims, I’m making fun of me). 
4. We found four snakes in our yard last week which I’ve decided to be okay with since Chris pointed out that they eat mice.  And you know that I have an irrational fear of mice.
5. The last search term that I Googled (since girlfiend told hers) was "number of pages in the US tax code."  It was for a post on my taxgirl.com site.  I am a huge tax geek.
6. My name has been in the local paper so often lately that my friends have decided to institute a drinking game whenever they see my name.  Thank god (1) it’s a weekly and (2) I wasn’t in it this week.
7. I’ve never read a Harry Potter book.  Or viewed the movie "ET".  Or watched an episode of "Lost" or "Heroes" or "CSI".  For all that I pride myself on being informed as to random pop culture, I guess I have peculiar taste.
8. My fantasy vacation destination is Peru.

Okay, those are my 8.  I need to go to sleep now.  Oh, except that I need to tag eight people:

1. "Lucy Diamond", even though I know she’s terribly busy
2. Chris, even though he’ll whine about it
3. CCW, because I figure there’s room for facts about 5 cats and 3 kids
4. Ali, cause her blog’s so pretty
5. Bethany, since she has nothing else to do
6. Mark, cause I haven’t commented on his blog in awhile and I feel badly about it
7. Sheryl, just in case her diet hasn’t made her cranky enough
8. Carol, since she just launched a new facet of her legal services

And like girlfiend, I doubt I’ll make it to comment on everyone’s site about the meme.  It’s midnight already.  I hope some of you folks will just stumble across it.
