We have lighting! (Insert maniacal laughter here.)
The electricians have been here for most of the day… and we have working lights in our house. I am sooo excited.
Even better? We have new outlets. As in ones that aren’t cracked or only halfway in the wall. It’s crazy.
But the porch? Yet again, the guys never showed, Our initial enthusiasm for our contractor has faded.

Oh, great!!! You have to pass along the name to me — my house is in need of some serious electrical upgrades I hope to do this summer. I also need a porch re-do at some point — this stuff is decades old and if I wind up having the good fortune to stay I’m fixing it all, finally. I’m tired of feeling like a squatter in my own home.
